The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, for instance, sliding drawers that help to organize the place of your items. It comes with a large bin for storing frozen food and a separate container for ice. Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. It allows you to control the temperature of your fridge, lighting, and more using your smartphone. It's a simple method to keep track of your refrigerator and manage it, especially when not at home. The Smart InstaView feature is neat however it doesn't enhance the efficiency of the fridge. This fridge took longer to chill food and defrost it than the other fridges we tried. This is likely due to its greater capacity. The doors pose a problem with this refrigerator. The sunken handles allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However, taller people still have a hard time closing them without slamming them. It would have been much better if these had front-mounted handles. The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those who want to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a bit less than the best counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which can make it a popular choice. Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator If you're looking for an French door fridge that doesn't cost a fortune this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a simple fridge that might not be as appealing like some of its competitors however, it does have enough features to make it a an excellent choice. Its most important feature, the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items such as vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast. The “Chill Drawer”, which sits above the two crisper bins, is a great feature. This drawer lets you use the majority of the refrigerator's cooling power into the area so it can be used to store food items that require special attention. This feature can be adjusted by using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the general settings work better than the specific ones. In my tests, the refrigerator's temperatures stayed fairly consistent across different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator did not differ significantly from 38 degrees. This is a pretty good performance, but it doesn't quite make it into the top ten in our rankings. This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead.
